Maria, a bright 10-year-old from San Roque, Quito, has always dreamed big. But with her parents working long hours and money always tight, those dreams felt out of reach. Before Casa Victoria, she spent most of her time helping at home, with little chance to focus on school or just be a kid.
That all changed the day she walked through our doors. At Casa Victoria, Maria found more than just homework help—she found a second home. Warm meals, caring mentors, and a safe space to learn and grow gave her the confidence to believe in herself.
She discovered a love for science and now dreams of becoming a doctor to help her community.
Today, Maria excels in school, has made lifelong friends, and even helps younger kids at Casa Victoria. Throughout her day here, she participates in our learning stations:
Homework: Receives personalized support to improve her studies.
Biblical Values: Learns principles that inspire her to be a better person.
Computers: Has fun while developing new digital skills.
Library: Explores stories that transport her to different worlds.
Games: Shares joyful moments with her friends.
